Personal data and cookies charter

Welcome to the website http://5gdhc.eu (hereinafter « the Website »).

The Website was developed as part of the European D2Grids project, which aims to deploy high-performance heating networks. Its objectives are to communicate on these heating networks, train the stakeholders of this ecosystem and propose accompanying documents to help them set up their heating network project.

By using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted, without limitation or reservation, this document (hereinafter “Personal data and cookies charter” or “Charter”). You also undertake to read the General Terms and Conditions of Use available here on the Website.

The purpose of the Charter is to inform you of the rights and freedoms that you can assert with regard to our use of your personal data and describes the measures that we implement to protect them.

The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with applicable regulations and, in particular, with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter « RGPD »), Law No. 78-17 relating to information technology, files and freedoms and the recommendations of the French data protection authority, the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL).

GreenFlex SAS, located at 7 – 11 boulevard Haussmann in Paris (75009), France, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 511 840 845 (hereinafter referred to as « GreenFlex ») is the publisher of the Website and therefore the data controller of personal data relating to the management of the Website. This processing is carried out in accordance with applicable law.

GreenFlex and Construction21 France – an Association under the law of 1901, declared to the Prefecture of Paris on 26 April 2013 under the number W751219572, SIRET number 793 791 955 000 24, whose registered office is located at 7 rue Blanche – 75009 Paris (hereinafter referred to as « Construction 21 ») and a partner of GREENFLEX in European D2Grids project – are joint controllers for the for the processing of your data regarding the newsletter subscription. Your email address is only used by Construction 21’s communication to send you newsletters about the D2GRIDS program. Construction 21 keeps your information until you unsubscribe from the newsletter or at the latest until the end of the D2GRIDS program. Though by subscribing to the newsletter you acknowledge that you have read understood and accepted, without limitation or reservation, the general terms and conditions of use of Construction21.

 1 – Purpose, basis for processing the data collected and storage period

You are likely to provide us with a certain amount of personal data such as your Surname, First Name, Email in order to benefit from the services offered by the Website and in order to respond to your requests for information in particular. If you are answering the questionnaire of the Development Toolkit your IP address will be collected in order to allow the creation of an anonymous identification key at the end of the response to the questionnaire. 

Data processing may be based on :

  • our legitimate interest in providing you with services where the purpose relates to the European D2Grids project ;
  • compliance with legal and regulatory obligations, in particular but not exclusively with regard to the obligations incumbent on website publishers;

your consent to the processing of your personal data for one or more specific purposes.

The information is necessary to enable us to process your request and better interact with you. In our online forms, required fields are marked with an asterisk. If the mandatory questions are not answered, we will not be able to respond to your requests or provide you with the service(s) requested.

Each form or service limits the collection of personal data to the necessary information and indicates in particular :

  • who is the person responsible for processing the personal data;
  • what are the purposes for which the data are collected;
  • whether this data is compulsory or optional for the management of your request;
  • the recipients of the data;

how long the data will be kept;

your rights and how to exercise them.

 

Your personal data will not be further processed in a manner incompatible with the purposes described above or in the collection forms.

Once the retention period has expired with regard to the purpose of the processing, your data is kept in interim storage for a period of time that complies with the applicable prescription provisions.

2 – Recipients of the data

Your personal data may be communicated to certain departments of GREENFLEX or Construction21 as joint controllers.

3 – Security and confidentiality of your data

The data controllers implement appropriate measures to preserve the security and confidentiality of your personal data and, in particular, to prevent it from being distorted, damaged or accessed by unauthorised third parties.

4 – Cookie management

4.1 Principle

A cookie is a file that records information relating to your computer’s browsing on the Site and makes it possible to facilitate your visits to the Site.

 

You may at any time delete the « cookies » installed on your computer, oppose the registration of new « cookies » and receive notification before a new cookie is installed by configuring your browser using the instructions below (« Types of cookies, cookies and statistics and settings »).

Technical cookies are used for technical purposes, to facilitate navigation on the Website. These technical cookies allow us to identify you to help you fill in forms or certain fields, and to improve your navigation. Technical cookies also make it possible to implement security measures or to take into account some of your choices. The purpose of these cookies is simply to ensure the functioning of this site. They can be placed and read on your terminal without your consent.

 

Please note that if you « uninstall » a technical cookie from your hardware, you may not be able to benefit from the services offered by the Website.

 

When cookies require your prior agreement before they are installed, we ask you to do so by means of the cookie management solution displayed on the Website. If there are no cookie management solution it means that no cookies collected on the Website require your prior agreement before they are installed. 4.3. Shelf life

The cookies stored in your terminal or any other element used to identify you for statistical and audience purposes will have a reasonable life span linked to the purpose of the processing envisaged within the limit of thirteen (13) months, this duration not being automatically extended when you visit the Website again. Beyond this period, the raw traffic data associated with an identifier is either deleted or anonymised.

 

4.4 How to delete, be warned of the installation of cookies or set up your browser?

You have the possibility to delete the cookies deposited on your equipment.

You also have a right of prior consent to commercial canvassing and of opposition under the conditions of the applicable regulations. You may request the communication of your personal data and you have the right to define directives concerning the fate of your personal data after your death. You also have the right not to be subject to a decision based exclusively on automated processing, including profiling. You may also request the limitation or portability of your data and/or lodge a complaint with the CNIL.
